With the wedding and festive season just around the corner, the time is just right for an Event like the Kolkata Couture Week, 2010 that will offer under one roof at Swissotel, Kolkata, exquisite designer wedding collections for all kinds of weddings like Bengali weddings, Marwari weddings, Muslim weddings, Punjabi weddings, Sindhi weddings and South- Indian weddings.

Idea Weavers have conceptualised this remarkable platform to present Indian Couture fashion art by not only by established ace fashion designers of India but also for budding aspirants in the Indian Fashion Industry.

Kolkata, ‘The Cultural Capital of India’ will see the exquisite work of eminent established designers as well as new designers like Neeta Lulla, Vikram Phadnis, Anju Modi, Archana Kocchar, Arjun Khanna, Charu Parashar, Rimple & Harpeet Narula, Arjun Agarwal, Anshu Modi, Sulakshana Monge, Kapil & Monika, Wrap by Siddharth Saigal, Komal Sood, Arshee Jamal, Kishan Bagri, Prachi Bhadve, Shweta Chawchawria, Shobhana Chowdhury and others.

The Choreographer for the Event, Mr. John Wolford has been brought in from London who has choreographed successfully more than 50 shows for London Fashion Week till date.

Mr. Vivek Agarwal, Chief event co-ordinator of Idea Weavers was quoted saying, “The most attractive and unique part of KCFW is ‘the set’. The set is pretty attractive and mystique, 30 feet long, 12 feet wide and 12 feet high. It will be so very lavish; there will be natural striking wallpapers which will be interchangeable.”

A professional team of Dolly Jain who holds the Limca Book of Records for draping saris in more than 100 styles will be heading the team of dressers at the Event while a professional team of a huge multinational make-up brand -INGLOT will be giving the models at KCFW the most stunning look.
