Global brands avail “Bollywood Factor” to target big lucrative Indian market1 comment

For the past decade, India has become the favorite for global brands. Almost every month either a new global brand or a product launch of a global brand is being introduced in the Indian market. India is now ranked as the 4th largest economy of the world with one of the fastest growing  middle class, around 300 million people, which is almost the population of United States of America. The popularity of “Bollywood  factor”  be it in cricket or fashion has been one of the constant trends for global brands to get a quick awaremess in the market from brand ambassadors to product endorsements.

Mumbai, January 2010 -
Giorgetti S.p.A. - the Italian designer furniture brand, launched its first store in India in Mumbai making the city only the third to host the brand’s standalone store after Milan and New York. The store was inaugurated by the stunning and elegant Bollywood actress and socialite Karishma Kapoor along with the President of Giorgetti S.p.A, Mr. Carlo Giorgetti and Ms. Heena Kalantri, Founder, M concepts - the company behind the brands entry into India.
