Manasvi Jaitley wins Miss North India 20110 comments

miss-north-india-201121 years old Noida based girl Ms Manasvi Jaitley won the contest of Miss North India 2011 held at Faridadbad, India on 26 February 2011.

All the contestants selected from entire North India. Audition held at Jaipur, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Barielly & Delhi. The contest judged by Lotus Film Director P. Mohanty, Ponds Femina Miss India Official Trainer Rita Gangwani, Abdul Halder (Lakme & Wills Lifestyle Fashion Designer), Eddy Singh (Director), Hiroo Alwani (Chairman of Blue Fire Jeans Germany) & Mr. Anoop Bhandari (Models N Trend Magazine Owner).

Rupa Khurana, 19 years old from Delhi won first runner-up title and Shaifali Sharma,from Dehradun, won second runner-up title.

In the Q&A round judges asked to Manasvi Jaitley, “How do you manage your weakness” and she replied I believe in me, God and in my family they boost up me every time and she said if “I win from here so I gonna try for Miss India.”

In the last few years the great Indian economic growth has mimicked in the contests scene as well. Not only there are the established national pageants like the Femina Miss India Univervere, Miss India World, Miss India Earth, Miss India International to name a few, some running over 30 years, there has been a real spurt in the vast country’s zonal (North/South) and state/city pageants. One of the constant attraction of the pageants is from the girls living in the sub to mid metro towns of India. It is still considered a fast ticket to stardom by winning a pageant in the vibrant new India.
