The silver lining

The collection draws inspiration from Gothic sub-culture and Punk Rock to the glamorous 80’s with glimpses of the romantic era. The collection is majority a black collection with hints of charcoal grays blended with olive and chocolate browns. Rocky displays knee to calf length dresses in velvets, linen, shiny satin stripes, soft georgette jersey and knit dresses highly embellished with antique silver and sequin embroidery. He has also created interesting textures with tucks, pleating and interesting folds of fabric, creating asymmetrical hemlines. The fabric manipulation going into soft folds creates innovative forms of architecture.

An array of black dresses has been followed by dresses in grey acetate, silver and ivory lurex ornamented with leaves textures, metal spikes and antique silver embroidery. The silhouettes are mostly sharp and body flattering, which have been softened with details like asymmetrical drapes, high waist pencil skirts, hooded tops and structured corsets.
