In August 2009, two of the past Miss India Australia winners Kanchan Verma, Miss India Australia 2008 and Tahirah, who has successfully made her way into Tv commercials and prints campaigns were in Mumbai. Given that Mumbai is fast becoming the new world culture melting pot it is clear the global Indian talent converges here. Though like anywhere else in the entertainment or glamour world it is highly competitive in Mumbai but the fact remains that it is the most vibrant city in terms of breaking into the entertainment industry.
